A Direction the Class Needs

I think the class is fine and doesn't need to change direction. I would rather do I blog every week than a POW or an article of the week, which freshmen have to do. American Literature is my favorite class because during the class we are either having a discussion, watching something, or working in groups. I don't remember a single lecture from this class, except the one on the first day (I think). I would say that the House of the Seven Gables is kind of boring, but maybe its because we're still in the beginning of the book. Plus, we're changing to Great Gatsby soon, so that might be better. Overall, I loved the class, loved the journals, loved the conversation, loved the fact that we had no lectures, and most of all, loved Pelada. This blog is pretty short, but that's mostly because I had no problems with the class and nothing to talk about, except for the grading scale.
